* Thunder on the Chesapeake Bay starts at the top of the bay at the Nauti-Goose Saloon in North East, MD on Friday afternoon. Late on Friday afternoon we cruise 44 miles down the bay to Red Eye's Dock Bar and spend the night at Mears Point Marina which is located by Red Eye's.

* The Nauti-Goose & Anchor Marina (located next to the Nauti-Goose) are in the town of 'North East', MD. The Ramp at the Anchor Marina can accomodate up to 55 foot boats.

* The upper half of the Chesapeake Bay where Thunder on the Chesapeake Bay is run is all fresh water so there's no need to flush your engines after the run or rinse off your trailers.

* 'North East' Hotels are two minutes away and the Nauti-Goose is 10 minutes from I95. The Thunder on the Chesapeake Bay Shuttle will run from 6:00 PM until 2:00 AM on Saturday night.

Friday night will be spent at Mear's Point Marina on Kent Island, next to the Famous Red Eye's Dock Bar with our Friday night party being hosted at Red Eye's.

* Mears Point Marina is a full service Marina with nearly 500 slips with power at every slip and has what is probably the nicest showers and facilities on the Chesapeake Bay. Hotels for Friday night are only a 5 minute walk from the Marina for those who do not wish to stay on their boats.
