AT Thunder on the Chesapeake Bay SAFETY AND FUN ARE OUR PRIORITIES

2008 marked the triumphant return of Thunder on the Chesapeake Bay Poker Run after a 5 year hiatus and 2011 will draw a larger field than ever.

There are two priorities at Thunder on the Chesapeake Bay - they are #1 - SAFETY and #2 - FUN. We believe that you can have fun on the water without alcohol and we strictly enforce a zero tolerance rule for alcohol consumption by the Captain. We also prohibit any alcohol consumption by the passengers because in the event of an emergency, alcohol impairs your judgement and reflexes.

If you violate our rules and consume alcohol you will be immediately disqualified from Thunder on the Chesapeake Bay. We will remove the event registration sticker from your boat, you will be barred from any of our activities and asked to leave immediately. In addition, you will be barred from participating in any of our future events. We have a number of safety inspectors in attendence at Thunder on the Chesapeake Bay whose mission is to insure the safety of everyone in attendence.

If you violate our rules - the rules you agree to when participating we can assure you that you day will be short with us.

Make no mistake about our resolve to organize and run a safe event.
